- Mixed hays are most commonly sourced from northern hay-producing states and are divided into eastern and western regional groups
- The 2-tie bale (40–70 lbs) is the most widely preferred size, with notable weight variation reflecting the broad range of growing regions
- Also available in compressed and big bale formats to accommodate a variety of feeding and storage needs
Timothy-Alfalfa (T-A)
- The most widely preferred hay variety, supported by a large number of growing regions and consistent availability nationwide

Orchard- Alfalfa (O-A)
- Nutritionally comparable to Timothy-Alfalfa, making it a reliable alternative within a balanced forage program
- Second and third cuttings are most commonly selected for their soft, grassy texture and palatability
